Born in Calgary after Gord Downie’s passing in 2017, GEDfest has grown into Canada’s largest fundraiser in his memory and one of the fastest-growing private fundraisers for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Now in its 9th year, GEDfest expands to 12 events across Canada and into the U.S. for the first time. Together, supporters have raised nearly $732,000 for cancer-related charities, and we’re just getting started.
