  • As part of our ongoing fundraising to assist the people of Haiti, the Red Cross has set up an sms donation platform for Astral. Listeners can text the word ASTRAL to shortcode 30333. A donation of $5 will be made to the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Relief Appeal. A $5 charge will appear on your cell phone bill. This works across Canada on all networks except Sasktel

  • Let them eat Cake... the Ronald Mcdonald House Southern Alberta's 25th Anniversary cake competition. Showcasing masterpiece's from top pastry chef's March 16th to 21st at Market Mall. Enjoy beautiful cakes, celebrity judges and more, all for a great cause.

  • The Calgary Drop-In Centre is currently in desperate need of TOWELS. Be a good neighbour and help out those in need! Your donation of towels will be greatly appeciated. Donations can be made directly to the Drop-In Centre at 423-4th Avenue S.E. 

  • Little Mutts Rescue:
    Little Mutts Rescue is new in town! Located in Calgary, their rescues are aimed at small dogs under 25 pounds. Since they are very new and strictly volunteer, Little Mutts Rescue desperately needs donations. Crates, dog food, dog bedding, anything that can be spared.
