Gerry Forbes

Gerry Forbes - winner of 'Best Radio Personality' in both the Calgary Sun & Herald...and for the past 7 years won the same award in Fast Forward Magazine. Gerry won Canadian Music Week's and the CAB's Awards for 'Best Radio Personality' (in other words they said he was the best this country had to offer!). In 2005 he was awarded the Order of Alberta. Gerry is also a columnist in the Calgary Sun (Thursdays & Sundays). He knows the meaning and importance of community. His charity work has raised thousands for local charities including the CJAY 92 Kids Fund. Every Friday Gerry's Secret Wish helps a local family with money and gifts. Gerry leads a team of announcers that continue to entertain, inform and dominate Calgary radio. Simply put, Gerry Forbes is the best rock radio morning man.
