Sonny & Cher - I Got You Babe [Collectables]

Although Sonny & Cher's music fell to the bubblegum side of pop, the fact remains that Sonny wrote some infectiously good songs, and thanks to Cher's sultry vocals, the duo enjoyed some massive hits. This ten-song set has two of them, "I Got You Babe" and the clever "The Beat Goes On," but unfortunately the rest of what is here is undeniably filler material. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
