The aggressive post-grunge thrash of Motograter's self-titled debut is easily derivative of new-millennium alt-metal. Led by the hungry growl of Ghost, Motograter is typically critical of social norms and American capitalism, and such anger carries the band's tantrum-like playing style. The 22-track album consists of 11 songs spelled correctly, while their snippet sequels are fillers with backwards titles, and such a design captures Motograter's own adverse mystique.
