A play on the title of Six Finger Satellite's The Pigeon Is The Most Popular Bird, Shellac's third pre-At Action Park single offers eight-track renditions of "Pull the Cup" (then titled as "XVI"), and an instrumental version of "The Admiral." As depicted by the photo inserted on the cover of the 7", they were recorded in Todd Trainer's bedroom, which provided the sound of a cavernous gymnasium. The recordings here are more immediate (live, more than likely) than the ones found on At Action Park, and they're a bit tinny. Read More
