Placebo - Extended Play '07

Just before embarking on the Projekt Revolution Tour (with Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, and Him) Placebo released Extended Play '07 as an attempt to win over a younger audience. This disc features five of their classics alongside three unreleased live tracks, including a rarely performed stage rendition of their late-'90s college radio anthem "Pure Morning" which you may recall from the memorably sophomoric chorus, "a friend in need's a friend indeed, a friend with weed is better." If that still doesn't ring a bell, then this disc will serve as a pretty decent taster-plate to the alt rock of Placebo, but after a full decade of music, this hardly serves as a full overview of their work. Read More
