We're saluting the best in winter sports competition in the CJAY 92 Winner Games!

Blind Hockey
Congratulations to Joel and his Salmon Pack the gold medal winners in Blind Hockey! The team splits $1000!

We had 2 teams - Joel's Salmon Pack vs Scott's Belle River Boys that played 5 minute periods of 4 on 4 hockey...blindfoled! Even the goalies couldnt see! We ended with a 2-1 win for the Salmon Pack! Thank You to Homes By Us who let us use the indoor hockey rink in the basement of their Aspen Woods showhome. Talk about an awesome Mancave!

Red Neck Biathlon
Congrats to Terrence our gold medal and $1000 winner who narrowly beat out Curtis! Both guys had to create bindings for their 2x4 skis using duct tape. One at a time we had the guys go through our biathlon course...starting with a mouth full of chewing tobacco and ready set go! Around the hairpin corner and to their first shooting event - paintball! The guys got 1 shot for each tire and if they miss, 5 seconds is added to their time. Then on to using a slingshot to take down 3 beer cans. Same deal if they miss - 5 second penalty! Remember the chewing tobacco? They're still chewing it so around the course to spit out their chew - gotta get it over the line or another penalty. Big Thank You's to Dean Folk of Folk Automotive for allowing us to set up the course in his shop lot and to Mike at TimberTown for making our 2x4 skis!

Gold - Terence, total time 2:09....course time 1:54 plus 3 time count violations (missed all 3 beer cans)
Silver - Curtis, total time 2:32...course time 2:06 plus 5 time count violations (missed 2 tires and all 3 beer cans)

Sport: Fast & The Furious Toboggan Races
Gold - Cody, 41km/hr, beat Nikki in the tie-breaker race-off
Silver - Nikki, 41 km/hr, lost in the race-off
Bronze - Joe, 39 km/hr
DNF - Jaymie wiped out a third of the way down the hill
Red Dawg's speed was 35 km/hr!

Sport: Brain Freeze Competition
Gold - Vince, finishing in just under 17 minutes!
Silver - Stanley, finishing only a minute after Vince!
Bronze - Joe, placing 3rd, still had a quarter of his slurpee left
4th - Anthony, placing 4th, still had a third of his slurpee left
