VIRGIN FESTIVAL 2009!!!
Another year, another successful Virgin Festival!! Pearl Jam And Billy Talent rocked the show... and so did all the other sweet bands that played over the weekend like Joshua's Habit and Social Code.
CJAY 92 wants to send a huge thanks to everyone who attended this year, and to all the events staff and volunteers at COP who helped make Vfest happen!!! CALGARY you ROCK!!!!

LONG WEEKEND!!!
So the long weekend is about to arrive and for those who aren't going to be camping or out of town there are a few events that will be taking place!
on Friday the 31st there will a mountain bike camp taking place at Canada Olympic Park.
Saturday- Sunday the 3rd biggest rodeo in the province will be happening in Strathmore! Come check out the Rodeo and running with the bulls! eeek! and come get some freebees from the road crew!
Monday is Heritage Day Holiday which means that the road crew will be stopping by Heritage Park for their all day event, come check out their new addition to the park! ALSO we will be stopping by Prince's Island Park to enjoy some multicultural music and cuisine!!
Stampede is Here!!
Stampede season is almost officially underway! Tonight is the Bud Blank Ticket at Nashville North. There's a mystery band, so come down tonight and look for Molly and Viv!
Then tomorrow morning the Bud Light Beer Gardens are opening their doors (Gates? Wood panels? Rope? Chain?) to you! Come say Hi to Dani and Erin in the mornings and afternoons, then Molly and Viv in the evenings! If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Little Gerry bootin around the beer gardens! If you bring him a beer I bet he'll let you get a picture with him!! ;)

Until then, on Saturday you can find Dani with Jodi Hughes at Visions on Macleod near Southland from 9-1pm.
Later on Sheena, Dan and Jen will be at the Megadeath and Slayer concert... And Molly will be at Backalley!
On Sunday Sheena and Molly will be at the Superbikes Championship at Race City Motosports Park! Go find them for some free swag!!

Stampede's 'a' comin'!
So Stampede is just around the corner and we hope to see you all in the Bud Light Beer Gardens where CJAY 92 will be broadcasting live from July 3rd to the 12th. Come by and say hi to Dani and Erin during the morning to the afternoon and Molly and Viv alllllll night long. OH YES! and don't forget Little Gerry will be bootin around with us so come get a picture with the whole CJAY crew!! See you down there! ;)

kick off to summer events!
So to start off the long weekend we headed down to the RedBull XFighters Stunt where Jeff Fehr, canadian motocross racer performed stunts to kick off the International RedBull XFighters motocross event taking place May 30th. It was so crazy!! Check out the pics on the CJAY 92 website!
If you looking for something fun to do you should check out Heritage Park's new Towne Square, a huge extention to the park! or you could head down to Canada Olympic Park as they kicked off their summer season this weekend! Bring your bike and hit the trails or if you dare try out the zip line!
Come down to Main Dish this Saturday and and enjoy a bbq with JD and ourselves as we make our own CJAY 92 gourmet burger recipe!
