Vocalist/songwriter Chris Thomson formed the Bathers in Glasgow, Scotland in 1987, after his previous band, Friends Again, fell apart. Over the next 10 years, he released a series of five albums that earned him a small following and a handful of positive reviews, yet he never broke into the mainstream.
