The paranthetical comment in the title gives you an indication of what you're in for if you listen to Cledus T. Judd's debut album. Cledus' jokes are rarely more clever than his observation that he is "no relation" to the famous singing duo of Naomi and Wynonna Judd -- however, that simple-minded humor is part of his appeal. The fact of the matter is, if you don't like corny country humor, you will not find Cledus T. Judd (No Relation) amusing. But if you do find Jeff Foxworthy and Hee Haw funny, (No Relation) is a laugh riot -- though he doesn't have a distinctive routine like Foxworthy, Judd is more consistently funny and his music, on its own terms, is pretty enjoyable.
