On August 24th & 25th 2012 the Airdrie Oilmen’s Association will be hosting their 2nd Annual Bikes & Bulls Charity Event & Concert.  In 2011 the 1st Annual Bikes & Bulls event was held at the Airdrie Rodeo grounds.  The Airdrie Oilmen’s Association took the initiative to create a unique event to draw crowds from two extreme market groups – motorcycle enthusiasts and bull riders.  This weekend includes many fun-filled activities such as the bike rodeo, bike rally, bull riding, concerts & more.  The result was a hit and raised over $7,000 for many great local charities including: Airdrie & District Victim’s Assistance Society, Community Links, Airdrie Food Bank, Central Alberta Humane Society, and Stars Air Ambulance.
 
The event schedule consists of:
- Friday
o Motorcycle Rally 3:00-9:00pm (Registration at 1pm)
o Who Made Who Concert 9:00pm
- Saturday
o Show & Shine 12:00-1:30pm
o Bike Rodeo 2:00-3:30pm
o Local Entertainment
o CPRA Bull Riding 7:30-10pm
o Gord Bamford Concert 10:30pm
 
There will be beer gardens, live bands and free overnight camping and parking.
 
Friday Full Day pass is: $30.  Saturday half day pass is: $20 (does not include the Gord Bamford concert).  Weekend Pass (includes Gord Bamford concert) $50.  Tickets are available at aoaalberta.com
