The team Western Bound is participating in the Weekend to End Women's Cancers being held July 21 and 22, 2012.  They are walking both days for a total of 60 km.  They are each walking for their friends and family that have been affected by cancer.  Signing up for the weekend required a commitment to raise a minimum of $2,000.00 each. Since 2005, over $22 million has been raised by Weekend participants enabling numerous advances in cancer research and care. Proceeds continue to fund innovative research, treatment, and prevention programs for breast and gynecologic cancers at the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
