Dave and Alex Lyall

Here's the letter we got: Alex and Dave lyall are Definitly home town heroes, they live in Strathmore and lately have had a great loss. Dave's dad Craig lyall was killed in a motor cycle accident only months after beating cancer. Alex and Dave own the joeys only in Strathmore and also manage the legion. Craig owned the joeys only in high river and now Dave and Alex are running all 3 businesses. This couple are amazing people and deserve to be acknowledged. They got married on August 11th also Dave's birthday and 9 short days later the accident happened.

3 years ago they took in Alex's little brother from quebec as he was on a a road to destruction in his life. Thanks to them he has turned into a great person. They went through many ups and downs during this 3 years but never gave up hope and this is just who this couple is. If you ask any of there friends, patrons at their restaurants or family they will tell you Alex and Dave always go above and beyond to lens a helping hand. I personally have had them help me out many times and I hope someone will do the same for them. Most people after getting married are enjoying being newlyweds and going on a honeymoon and these 2 are busy running 3 restaurants and dealing with the loss of a loving father. Please acknowledge this couple!!!

Our Own Kelly Higgins

Quite a few people have emailed us about this kick ass gal and we couldn't agree more. She runs the Gerry Forbes Secret Wish and has helped so many families in Calgary all on her own time. We, along with a lot of you, thought that she deserved some recognition so we gave her a shout.
